Η γενοκτονία δεν παίρνει εισαγωγικά - Genocide does not get "quotation marks"

Όποιος και να είναι στο Υπουργείο Παιδείας, η γενοκτονία δεν παίρνει εισαγωγικά. Και οι δηλώσεις που δεν είναι ενημερωμένες ούτε για το αρμενικό, ούτε για την απόφαση του νομοσχεδίου ποινικοποίησης από τη Γαλλία, ενώ είχε περάσει από τη Bουλή και τη Γερουσία κι ούτε για τα δεδομένα της περιοχής, δεν έχουν καμία αξία ακόμα κι αν παρουσιάζονται αποκλειστικά για λόγους πολιτικούς.

Επίσης είναι αστείο ν’ ακούμε κόμματα να μιλούν για παλαιοκομματισμό, ενώ προέρχονται από συστήματα που έχουν καταρρεύσει εδώ και δεκαετίες, γιατί καταπατούσαν τα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα και γιατί είχαν διαπράξει γενοκτονίες ενάντια στους λαούς της περιοχής.

Βέβαια όταν συνεχώς προωθείς την ιδέα ότι η ιστορία πέθανε, στο τέλος καταλήγεις να κάνεις σοβαρά ιστορικά λάθη γιατί η ιστορία συνεχίζει να ζει χωρίς να έχει καν σταματήσει ακόμα και στις χειρότερες εποχές για τους ανθρώπους.

Τα μαθήματα ιστορίας δεν δίνονται από κόμματα και ειδικά από αυτά που έχουν όχι μόνο λερωμένη τη φωλιά τους, αλλά και τα χέρια τους. Διότι η γενοκτονία δεν είναι απλώς μια απλή εθνοκάθαρση ακόμα και ωμή, αλλά μια συστηματική καταστροφή και ένα έγκλημα κατά της Ανθρωπότητας. Δεν είναι λοιπόν απλές δηλώσεις και απαντήσεις που θα αλλάξουν τα πράγματα για τη γενοκτονία που είναι ένα ιστορικό γεγονός.

Επίσης η Ελλάδα πέρασε το νομοσχέδιο για την ποινικοποίηση της μη αναγνώρισης των γενοκτονιών που έχουμε ήδη αναγνωρίσει, όπως είναι η γενοκτονία των Αρμενίων και η γενοκτονία των Ελλήνων του Πόντου. 

Είναι λοιπόν σημαντικό να μην μας ξεγελούν τα πολιτικάντικα κείμενα που δεν έχουν κανένα ιστορικό ή στρατηγικό βάθος, και να συνεχίσουμε τον αγώνα μας σε διεθνές επίπεδο.

Whoever is situated at the Ministry of Education, genocide does not get "quotation marks". And all statements that are uninformed, either in regards to the Armenian issue, or the decision of the proposed criminalizing legislation from France, even though it had gone through the Parliament and the Senate, nor the data of the region, then those statements have no value whatsoever, even if they are solely presented for political reasons.

Additionally, it's weird to listen to political parties talking about old politic tactics, even though they derive from systems which have collapsed decades ago, because they had violated human rights, and because they had committed genocides against the nations of the region.

Certainly, when you continuously promote the idea that history is dead, in the end you end up making serious historical mistakes, because history continues to live on, without ever having stopped, even in the worst times for humanity.

The history lessons are not given by political parties, and particularly not by those which have not only fouled their own nest, but have also soiled their hands as well. Because genocide is not just a simple case of ethnic cleansing, even in its most brutal form, but a systematic catastrophe and a crime against Humanity.
It is not therefore simple statements and remarks, which will alter things in regards to genocide, which is a historical fact.

Additionally, Greece passed the bill on criminalization of non-recognition of the genocides which we have already recognized, such are, the Armenian genocide and the genocide of the Greeks of Pontus.

It is therefore important not to allow our self concept to be determined by petty political articles, which have no historical or strategic depth, and to continue our struggle on an international level.
