Mejilis of Crimean Tatars banned as extremist organization

The Supreme Court of Crimea has sustained on Tuesday the claim of the republic’s Prosecutor Natalya Poklonskaya for banning the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, recognizing the organization’s activity as extremist.
