The Turkish foreign Ministry called «a disgrace» the recognition of Armenian genocide by Germany

Adopted by the German Parliament decision on the recognition of the genocide of the Armenian population in the Ottoman Empire is «ignorance and disrespect for the law». This is stated in a statement released by the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkey.

In Open Letter Schiff Tells Obama: ‘Call the Armenian Genocide What It Was – Genocide’

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), the lead sponsor of the Armenian Genocide Truth and Justice Resolution in Congress, spoke on the House Floor on Wednesday and delivered an open letter to the President of the United States, Barack Obama, urging him to recognize the Armenian Genocide in his final year in office in advance of the 101st anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The commemoration of the genocide will take place on Sunday, April 24.

Όποιος και να είναι στο Υπουργείο Παιδείας, η γενοκτονία δεν παίρνει εισαγωγικά. Και οι δηλώσεις που δεν είναι ενημερωμένες ούτε για το αρμενικό, ούτε για την απόφαση του νομοσχεδίου ποινικοποίησης από τη Γαλλία, ενώ είχε περάσει από τη Bουλή και τη Γερουσία κι ούτε για τα δεδομένα της περιοχής, δεν έχουν καμία αξία ακόμα κι αν παρουσιάζονται αποκλειστικά για λόγους πολιτικούς.

Armenia Leads UN Effort to Designate Dec. 9 International Genocide Commemoration Day

UNITED NATIONS—The Mission of the Republic of Armenia to the United Nations lead an effort for the body’s General Assembly to pass resolution Friday proclaiming December 9 as the annual “International Day of Commemoration and Dignity of the Victims of the Crime of Genocide and of the Prevention of this Crime.” The resolution, adopted by consensus, had the support of over 80 member countries, including the United States.
