Greece: Another election with hopes for better future

The Greek general election's result is a tremendous personal achievement of Alexis Tsipras. His supporters celebrated the victory outside Syriza's headquarters and the party's election kiosk at Klathmonos square in central Athens.
“We believe in him. He is the only one telling the truth. He is the only one fighting for us” a middle aged woman said.

Turkey’s first Roma and Yazidi representatives to enter parliament

Turkey’s Roma and Yazidi populations will be represented in parliament for the first time, as main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) Roma candidate Özcan Purçu and Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Yazidi candidates Feleknas Uca and Ali Atalan all secured seats in the June 7 elections.
