Indian city gets rid of beggars ahead of Ivanka Trump visit

Hundreds of beggars in the southern Indian city of Hyderabad have been removed from the streets and placed in shelters ahead of Ivanka Trump's visit to the city, the police told EFE Friday.


Ivanka Trump, daughter and adviser to President of the United States, Donald Trump, will arrive in Hyderabad, capital of the Telangana province, as part of a US delegation to attend the annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) - jointly organized by the US and India since 2010 - between Nov. 28 and Nov. 30.
