Israel demolished a number of homes and other buildings in the occupied West Bank that were owned by Palestinians as part of the most recent escalation against the Muslims.
On Tuesday, four homes in the village of al-Jiftlik, north of the historic city of Jericho, were demolished by Israeli forces under the excuse that they were illegally constructed in Area C of the occupied West Bank, which is governed by the Israeli military.
Also in the West Bank, Israeli military forces knocked down 17 metal barns Palestinians use to raise livestock. Livestock is an important sector of the Palestinian economy, contributing up to 46 percent of total agricultural income.
