A faction of Nigeria's terror group Boko Haram has confirmed that the 110 missing school girls in the country's northeastern town of Dapchi are in its custody, a negotiator that used to bring together military officers and Boko Haram commanders for negotiations said on Friday.
Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari on Friday said he will be sending more troops and surveillance aircraft to search for schoolgirls who were declared missing after suspected Boko Haram terror group attacked their college in the northeastern state of Yobe last Monday.
Boko Haram militants have released dozens of schoolgirls out of a group of more than 200 whom they kidnapped from the northeastern town of Chibok in April 2014, officials said today.
